2. Privacy when using the TAMVY app

The app uses:

• no user account or registration,
• no advertising,
• no analytics or tracking services,
• no advertising trackers,
• no transmission to the provider of entries made during exercises or of your personal TAMVY evaluation.

Free-text entries made during individual exercises are processed on the device only for the duration of the current exercise. They are not transmitted to TAMVY servers and are not permanently stored as part of your personal evaluation.

To provide personal recommendations and the “My TAMVY” feature, certain session data is stored exclusively locally on the device being used. This includes, in particular, the completed exercise, the state selected beforehand, the feedback “Better”, “Same” or “Worse”, and the time at which the session was completed.

This locally stored data is used exclusively within the app to evaluate previous sessions, adapt personal exercise recommendations, and display statistics and the Burden Index. It is not transmitted to the provider or to a TAMVY server.

The Burden Index is a personal index calculated exclusively within the app based on your own sessions and feedback. It is not a medical or diagnostic value.

Settings such as language, the inclusion of certain exercise types in random selection, haptics, and whether onboarding has already been shown are also stored exclusively locally. TAMVY may also take locally available system settings such as language or reduced motion into account.

The provider does not evaluate app usage. Personal evaluation and the adaptation of recommendations take place automatically and exclusively locally on the device.

The provider has no access to the TAMVY data stored locally and cannot view it, associate it with a user account, or delete it on a server.

3. PDF summary, Burden Index and sharing

At the user's request, TAMVY can create a PDF summary and a shareable Burden Index card from the session data stored locally on the device.

These files are created locally on the device. TAMVY does not automatically transmit them to the provider or to any other service.

Only when the user explicitly selects the sharing feature is the generated file handed over to the device's system sharing function. The user then decides which recipient or app the file will be shared with.

Any further processing by a service or recipient selected by the user is subject to that service's or recipient's own privacy policy.

Free-text entries from individual exercises are not included in the personal TAMVY summary or the Burden Index card.

4. Download and purchase through app stores

Depending on the device being used, TAMVY is downloaded and, where applicable, purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Any data processing required in connection with the respective store account, the download, and payment processing is carried out by Apple or Google in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Through the respective app store, TAMVY does not receive access to entries made during exercises, locally stored session data, or your personal TAMVY evaluation.

5. External links in the app

TAMVY contains links in certain places to external information resources, particularly those provided by health organisations such as the WHO or NHS. These pages are opened only when you actively select the relevant link.

Once an external website is opened, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. TAMVY does not transmit entries made during exercises and does not receive information about how you subsequently use the external website.

6. Visiting the website tamvy.de

The website tamvy.de is provided using the hosting service Netlify. The provider is:

When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection and access data is processed. This may include, in particular, the IP address, date and time of access, the requested address or resource, browser and device information, and referrer information where transmitted by the browser.

This processing is carried out to provide the website securely and reliably, to analyse errors, and to protect against abusive access. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing our online service securely and in proper working order.

Netlify is a company based in the United States. Processing of personal data outside the European Union or European Economic Area therefore cannot be ruled out. For international data transfers, Netlify refers, among other things, to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and to the Standard Contractual Clauses published by the European Commission.

TAMVY does not use its own analytics, advertising or tracking services on the website. In particular, no Google Analytics, advertising pixels or personalised advertising are integrated.

7. Contact by email

If you contact TAMVY by email at support@tamvy.de, we process the data you provide. This includes, in particular, your email address, the content of your message and, where applicable, any additional information you voluntarily provide.

The data is used to process and respond to your request. If the request concerns an existing or potential contract, processing is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, processing is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in processing incoming enquiries.

united-domains states that its email servers are operated in Germany. Data transmitted as part of an email enquiry is deleted once it is no longer required to process the request and provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

8. Cookies, analytics and advertising

TAMVY does not use its own cookies on tamvy.de for analytics, marketing or advertising purposes. No proprietary analytics, marketing or tracking services are used.

9. Your rights

Where personal data is processed, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation in particular:

• the right of access,
• the right to rectification,
• the right to erasure,
• the right to restriction of processing,
• the right to data portability where the statutory requirements are met,
• the right to object to certain processing activities,
• the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

To exercise your rights, you can contact support@tamvy.de at any time.

Session, settings and evaluation data stored locally within the TAMVY app is not transmitted to the provider. The provider therefore cannot view this data, associate it with a user account, or delete it on a server. This does not apply to data that you voluntarily send to TAMVY yourself when contacting us by email.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy will be updated if TAMVY's features, the technical services used, or legal requirements change.
